Who we are

IRTIC (Institute of Robotics and Information & Communication Technologies) is a university research center within the University of Valencia, Spain, and is currently formed by three research groups that cover different disciplines related to the field of information and communication technologies. It has extensive experience in the coordination and development of national and international projects.

 

Proposal scope

JOIN CONSORTIUM expects to become a useful platform to encourage the development of innovative technologies with useful applications for both citizens and entities.

We are looking for innovative partners who wish to contribute to the Horizon Europe programme focused on adapting to Climate Change in Europe, and more specifically to accelerate the transformation to a climate resilient future in a number of regions and deploy at full scale the systemic transformations locally needed to build climate resilience, mainstreaming nature-based solutions in the approach.

The CHEC² – Challenging the Health Effects of Climate Change project will be in line with the Adaptation to Climate Change Mission's objectives to mobilize at least 150 regions to test the most locally needed solutions to increase climate resilience and to conduct at least 75 in-depth demonstrations of systemic transformations for climate resilience.

Milestones

              • 1st July — Confirmation of interest in participating in the consortium
              • 15th July — Presentation of all of the information per partner
              • 7th September — Final validation of the proposal before submission to the European Commission
              • First trimester 2024 — Results, signing of the Grant Agreement and start of the project
